10 seeds. Genetics are originally from wild plants in Hays County and Travis County, TX. Homegrown seed. Collected in 2025. Germination has not been tested yet.
Stratification: Not required. No cold stratification is necessary for germination.
Scarification: Improves germination. Scarify with sandpaper for better results. Or alternatively, soak in hot water (initial temperature of 120–140°F / 50–60°C) and let sit for 12–24 hours.
Sowing Depth: ⅛″ to ¼″ deep in well-draining seed-starting mix.
Moisture: Keep soil lightly moist, not soggy.
Temperature: 70–85°F (21–29°C) for best results.
Germination Time: 1 to 3 weeks, longer if unscarified.
